Overview The Finance IT team is implementing technology solutions to support CFO Modernization initiatives as part of RBC's ongoing plan to improve technology management and operational excellence. In this role you will be responsible for project control activities including status reporting, financial reporting, resource allocation and recoveries, using modern project management tools and collaborating across diverse teams to drive meaningful change. Responsibilities Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed large integrated project/program schedules using MS Project, ensuring the dependencies within the schedules are established and facilitating communication / resolution of schedule variance issues with the project team. Track project finance according to approved cost funding, including monitoring funding amounts / resource forecasting, validating / tracking contract invoices to project finances, and contributing to project documents focusing on project financials. Proactively identify risks / issues / action items, tracking with identified owners mitigation / action plans are defined; track progress to closure. Lead the preparation of weekly/monthly reporting for Senior Management/Executive view as per the program / project governance model. Collaborate with PMO team to identify opportunities for continual improvement in project delivery practices. Qualifications Undergraduate degree coupled with demonstrated experience running technology programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of technical and business stakeholders. Strong organizational, project control and time management capabilities with experience in agile, waterfall and hybrid planning methodologies. A track record of collaborating with PMO teams to identify and implement opportunities for improving project delivery practices. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Finance technology. Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded financial services corporation. Excellent interpersonal skills to work across technical functions and business units.
