Responsibilities Support structured finance, securitization, and syndicated lending transactions. Advise on Canadian residential mortgage matters and loan financing structures. Review, draft, and negotiate transaction documents, commercial agreements, and vendor contracts. Support financing and loan sale transactions from inception through closing. Handle corporate and governance matters as required. Manage external counsel and coordinate transaction execution efficiently. Identify legal and commercial risks proactively and help move transactions forward. Work closely with business stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Operate independently with significant ownership and responsibility over files. Job Details Full-time in-office position based in Toronto. Ability to independently manage transactions and provide practical legal advice. Excellent drafting, analytical, and issue-spotting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Commercial mindset, strong judgment, and proactive approach.
