Job Description The Finance Lead supports the financial management, controls, and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate requirements. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial analysis, while assisting with risk management and commercial processes. The Finance Lead contributes to effective project delivery by supporting financial performance and helping ensure alignment with budget and stakeholder expectations.Location 5900 Explorer Dr., Mississauga, ON, CanadaResponsibilitiesProvide financial forecasting, budgeting, and long‑term planning.Advise leadership on financial implications of business decisions.Oversee cash flow, investments, and financial risk management.Optimize capital structure to support growth initiatives.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.Manage audits (internal and external) and implement recommendations.Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and efficiency.Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the department.Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.Implement systems for monitoring financial performance and internal controls.Support mergers, acquisitions, and other business development opportunities.Ensure Amico complies with statutory reporting requirements, including preparation of quarterly financial statements and other disclosures.Report to the executive committee.Ensure Amico Senior Executives are up to date on all current and emerging accounting issues and their impact on the financial reporting.Responsible for business and financial strategy and planning, including the management and development of policies and procedures, systems and processes.Overall responsibility for any external audit processes.Ensure that a comprehensive financial due diligence is carried out for any acquisitions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred).Minimum of 7‑10 years in financial management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.Strong ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage change.Exceptional problem‑solving, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to communicate complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.Equal Opportunity Statement At Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
