Northland Properties Chief Financial Officer Northland Properties is Canada’s largest privately-held hospitality company, with lines of business including hotels, resorts, restaurants, professional sports teams, and property development and management located across Canada, the UK, Ireland, and the US. What began as a small company dedicated to providing great customer service and taking care of people, has flourished into an organization with some of North America’s most iconic hospitality brands. Northland’s purpose is to bring everyone together, and the team is committed to bringing their whole selves to work with heart, head, hands and spirit through the expression of behaviours that encompass Northland’s four core values: We love people. We love growth. We love connection. We love challenge. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role is a broad, high-impact mandate for a seasoned finance executive to shape the finance agenda at a significant and entrepreneurial organization. The CFO is a key member of Northland’s senior leadership team and an enterprise-wide business partner to the President & COO, CEO and business unit leaders, and provides strategic and tactical finance and accounting support organization-wide in a shared services model. Therefore, this person must build excellent relationships and quickly gain a deep understanding of a wide variety of businesses across a number of different jurisdictions. This executive will provide financial leadership that is both strategically grounded and operationally hands-on, and will build on Northland’s financial foundation, strengthen capabilities, and help drive disciplined, profitable growth. As the ideal candidate, you are an entrepreneurial finance leader who has built your career in a multi-entity, asset-intensive, or operationally complex environment, ideally in the hospitality industry. You operate seamlessly as both strategic advisor and hands-on executive, playing the role of partner to operations and senior leadership, ensuring finance adds measurable value to decision-making. With a strong capacity for navigating complex systems and regulatory requirements, you will balance standardization with customization to achieve economies of scale while recognizing and balancing the distinct needs of each business. Above all, you will bring a track record of building accountable, high-performing teams through calm, steady leadership, and a capacity to create clarity of focus. For a finance leader who wants both scope and impact, this role offers the chance to build capability, strengthen performance, and help guide Northland’s next phase of growth. The targeted salary range for this position is $270,000 – $300,000 annually, supplemented by a competitive total rewards package including incentive compensation, RRSP matching and a comprehensive extended benefits offering. #J-18808-Ljbffr
