Quantum Engineer Department: Quantum Processors Employment Type: Full Time Location: British Columbia, Canada Compensation: The base annual salary range for this full-time role is $119,000 to $163,600 CAD. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside of this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's qualifications including relevant education and training, competencies, experience, geographic location, and business needs. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package. Full time roles are eligible for equity and benefits. Base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Description This Quantum Engineer role at Photonic is part of the Spin‑Photon Qubit System Performance team. Leveraging your technical skills in quantum engineering, curiosity, and synthetic thinking, you will make technical decisions quickly while keeping a view of the broader context to accelerate learning and derisking, and to generate system requirements for execution by other teams. In this position, you will collaborate closely with high-performing teams of product engineers, with expertise spanning from device physics to classical computer architecture and compilers. You thrive on the excitement of mastering new technology and reducing science to practice, while bringing your significant hands-on expertise, open mind, and creativity to tackle key challenges as we build the world’s first truly scalable quantum computing system.
