Overview BDO Canada Indirect Tax Service is looking for a Paraprofessional to join our team. The role provides general administrative support within the national Indirect Tax Group and handles processing tasks related to Workday, client engagement, tax research, and return filings. Responsibilities Provide general administrative support within the national Indirect Tax Group Support Workday processing, including billings, collections, deposits, payment entries, and client invoice printing, mailing or emailing Coordinate client acceptance, conflict checks, Workday customer and project setup, CaseWare setup, and prepare engagement letters, master service agreements, and statements of work Conduct and document indirect tax research Communicate with tax authorities to obtain information, complete registrations, validate data, or respond to requests Prepare GST/HST, QST, PST, payroll tax (e.g., EHT) and workers’ compensation returns; work with client general ledger data to calculate sales tax, creditable tax, and payroll amounts Assist with the electronic and paper filing of tax returns Communicate with team members on various indirect tax matters Work cooperatively and effectively with other staff members and partners Provide additional administrative support as required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of related experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with MS Office; experience with CaseWare and TaxPrep is an asset Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Compensation Expected range: $51,000 to $77,000.
