In this role, you will act as the true face of the company, serving as a cultural ambassador for all inbound candidates and new team members across their local sites. This is a highly autonomous, high-impact opportunity for an intuitive recruiter who moves beyond a "checklist" mentality to build genuine relationships and craft exceptional candidate experiences. What You’ll Be Doing: Full-Cycle Recruitment Ownership: Lead and execute the end-to-end recruitment process for a diverse portfolio of roles across four distinct business units—ranging from operational warehouse and supply chain positions to senior sales, IT, finance, and director-level leadership. Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings, design tailored sourcing strategies, lead impactful HR-fit interviews, and confidently extend offers. Relationship & Rapport Building: Move past "cookie-cutter" recruiting by bringing high energy, professional maturity, and an engaging communication style to interviews, establishing instant credibility with both internal stakeholders and external talent. Immersive Onboarding Management: Take complete ownership of the new hire experience. You will craft announcements, tailor onboarding decks, coordinate first-day logistics, and handle administrative details (like tech and equipment setup) to take the heavy lifting off managers' plates. Process & Tech Optimization: Act as the internal champion for their HRIS (BambooHR), ensuring candidate data is meticulously maintained, training hiring managers on structured hiring tools, and leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter to build proactive talent pipelines. Talent Management Support: Support managers with 30/60/90-day reviews, prioritize internal employee referrals, and keep a pulse on upcoming performance management or hiring workflows to anticipate business needs. What You’ll Need to Be Successful: Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within technical services, HVAC, distribution, construction, or related multi-unit industries. Experience in a custom, fast-paced agency or corporate environment is a major asset. Professionalism & Polished Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You are someone who speaks with professional maturity, demonstrates high emotional intelligence, and represents HR with humility and a long-term mindset. Proactivity & Detail-Orientation: A self-motivated professional who takes complete ownership of their desk, flags unrealistic deadlines early, and possesses ironclad follow-through—ensuring no meeting detail, invite, or tracking note slips through the cracks. Adaptability & Industry IQ: The ability to quickly grasp the nuances of diverse positions, earn the trust of hiring managers, and comfortably navigate a pipeline that scales from 5 to 15 active openings. Tech & Compliance Savvy: Familiarity with modern applicant tracking systems (knowledge of BambooHR modules is preferred), behavioral interviewing methodologies, and a solid understanding of local employment legislation and onboarding compliance. Location Flexibility: This is a hybrid role (comfortably commuting to sites across Oakville and Mississauga), starting with a strong in-office presence to build critical face-to-face relationships before transitioning into a highly flexible hybrid/remote routine. Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000
