Opportunity As a key member of the Security Architecture team, the Architect leads the design of secure, scalable, and high‑quality solutions aligned with enterprise strategies and roadmaps. This role partners closely with business, IT, and architecture stakeholders to drive end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring robust security across AI, cloud, applications, and infrastructure.What to ExpectAccountable for the architecture and design of secure, scalable, and quality solutions.Guide execution of deliverables from inception to implementation, collaborating with delivery teams and architecture peers to align with Enterprise Security Architecture principles, strategies, and roadmaps.Collaborate with business on emerging challenges and opportunities, establishing and maintaining the security architecture strategy and planning for AI, cloud, applications, platforms, infrastructure, network, and data architecture.Define detailed security solution architecture, including all functional and non‑functional requirements, often crossing multiple technology domains.Build strong trusting relationships across the enterprise using emotional intelligence.Prepare and present options analysis material to key Security, IT, and Business stakeholders.Work with delivery teams and integrators on the implementation of security controls, supporting, guiding, and influencing them throughout the project lifecycle.Participate in security solutions selection, evaluation, and acquisition processes.Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure strategic alignment to security architecture principles, strategies, and roadmaps.Engage in the Enterprise Architecture community to help formulate and shape security architecture patterns and execute on strategies.Provide support and mentorship to security operational and delivery teams in their day‑to‑day activities, as required.Have a strong understanding of information security and/or IT risk & compliance management with a focus on security, performance, and data privacy.What You BringUniversity degree in a related discipline.10+ years of security architecture experience or related cyber and information security experience.Advanced knowledge in multiple security domains such as AI, Identity and Access Control, cloud security, network security, operations security, application security, cryptography, computer forensics, security architecture and design, development and system security, and end‑user devices security.Proficiency in related security industry standards, tools, frameworks, and patterns, such as NIST and PCI, and how they apply to practical implementable controls in modern operating environments.Familiarity with AI‑specific security risks and mitigation techniques, including adversarial attacks, data leakage, and model vulnerabilities.Awareness of AI governance, model risk management, and responsible AI practices.Experience with or exposure to AI‑related frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, emerging regulatory expectations).Ability to translate AI risk into business, compliance, and architectural decisions.Applicable experience implementing security solutions in a medium to large enterprise.Strong understanding of information security and/or IT risk & compliance management with a focus on security, performance, and data privacy.Experience with a wide breadth of tools, operating systems, programming/scripting languages, cloud and datacenter environments, and a drive to continually learn and embrace new technology.Cloud security implementation expertise, including in‑depth knowledge of GCP, AWS, and Azure, and relevant cloud security certifications.Experience in the financial sector, specifically the insurance industry, is a very strong asset.Salary Range $130,000 - $180,000BenefitsHybrid work schedule for most roles.Company share ownership program.Incentive program (eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans).Pension and savings programs, with company‑matched RRSP contributions.Paid volunteer days and company matching on charitable donations.Educational resources, tuition assistance, and paid time off to study for exams.Support for inclusion and diversity initiatives.Wellness and recognition programs.Discounts on products and services.Clearance This role requires successful clearance of background checks, including criminal checks and leadership references.#J-18808-Ljbffr
