Our client, a growing organization with operations in British Columbia, is seeking a Safety Associate to help support a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys partnering with employees and leadership teams to promote best practices, support training initiatives, and contribute to a positive safety culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day health and safety activities while helping drive continuous improvement across the organization. What You'll Be Doing: Support the execution and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives. Assist with employee training, onboarding, and safety awareness programs. Participate in workplace inspections and help identify opportunities to reduce risk. Support incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities. Help maintain safety records, certifications, and compliance-related documentation. Collaborate with leaders and employees to encourage safe work practices and proactive hazard identification. Assist with policy reviews, program updates, and safety communications. Monitor safety metrics and contribute to reporting and trend analysis. Provide administrative and operational support to the health and safety function as required. Promote a culture where safety is integrated into everyday decision-making. What We're Looking For: Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related discipline. Previous experience supporting health and safety programs in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, construction, or operational environment is considered an asset. Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems. Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
