Analyst / Senior Analyst – Enhanced Analytics Fitch is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst (title will be commensurate with experience) to join the Global Corporates, Infrastructure and Project Finance (CIPF) group as a member of the CIPF Enhanced Analytics team. This team prioritizes, leads, and executes global non‑coverage analytical initiatives in criteria, research, enhanced analytics, models, and other non‑operational functions to support rating and research efforts of over 400 CIPF analysts worldwide. We’ll Count On You To Develop, support and maintain Excel applications used in the rating and research process. Integrate and mine large data sets, connecting data from disparate sources (primarily Oracle and Mongo databases) to identify critical insights and pragmatic data solutions. Collaborate with functional experts and organizational leaders in the implementation of new products and process improvements. Produce data‑driven reports and presentations for internal and external use. What You Need To Have Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical/quantitative field. Previous experience as a data engineer or data analyst. Python, VBA and SQL programming knowledge required. Experience and expertise working with relational/non‑relational databases and understanding of storage technologies (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB). Nice To Have Business Intelligence experience, including hands‑on development and analysis in Qlik Cloud. Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools. What Would Make You Stand Out Have a keen interest in finance and business. Knowledge/experience in finance/accounting, economics or capital markets is a plus. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Pay and Benefits: For Toronto roles only, expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $135,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job‑related factors.
