Job Role: O&M Manager Location: Hyderabad Experience Required: 8–10+ years Qualification: BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering (master’s preferred) Roles & Responsibilities of Project Manager – O&M (Solar Ground-Mounted Projects) Plant Operations ManagementEnsure maximum plant uptime and energy generation as per PPA commitments Monitor daily generation vs. budgeted generation Track PR (Performance Ratio), CUF (Capacity Utilization Factor), and availability Analyze SCADA data for performance deviations Coordinate grid synchronization and shutdown planning Ensure compliance with grid code and SLDC requirements Preventive & Corrective MaintenanceDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for: Solar modules Inverters (string/central) Transformers HT/LT panels SCADA systems Switchyard equipment Oversee corrective and breakdown maintenance Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for inverter trips and recurring faults Ensure thermography inspections and periodic testing Plan annual shutdown maintenance Performance Monitoring & OptimizationMonitor plant performance through SCADA and data analytics Identify underperforming strings/arrays Manage module cleaning strategy (robotic/manual/water optimized) Conduct degradation analysis Implement performance improvement initiatives Reduce system losses (DC losses, AC losses, transformer losses) Team & Site ManagementLead site engineers, technicians, supervisors, and security teams Plan manpower deployment for maintenance and cleaning Ensure proper training and skill development Maintain discipline, safety culture, and operational standards Manage contractor workforce during major maintenance Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)Implement site safety protocols Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards Conduct toolbox talks and safety training Monitor use of PPE Ensure safe working during HT operations Manage environmental compliance (vegetation control, waste disposal) Budget & Cost ControlPrepare annual O&M budget Control spare parts and consumables inventory Manage module cleaning costs Optimize water consumption (if water-based cleaning) Track insurance claims and warranty recoveries Monitor O&M cost per MW Spare Parts & Inventory ManagementMaintain critical spares stock (inverter cards, fuses, surge arrestors, breakers) Ensure proper storage of spare modules Track warranty status of equipment Coordinate with OEMs for replacement parts Contract & Vendor ManagementManage module cleaning vendors Coordinate with inverter OEMs for warranty claims Monitor SLAs and performance guarantees Evaluate subcontractor performance Handle insurance coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr
