As an Associate in this role, you will act as an IT SME, participating in or overseeing analytic and technical assignments. You will design, document, implement, administer, support, and maintain hardware, software, and SaaS products. The role is split between project-based work involving evaluation, design, development, and deployment of new infrastructure services and serving as a third-level escalation point for existing services and users. Responsibility Overview Create standards, operational runbooks, participate and lead projects, design and engineer overall infrastructure and technology. Gather business requirements and translate them into cutting‑edge technical solutions. Proactively foresee market trends, forecast needs, and suggest updates/upgrades to technology. Evaluate infrastructure products, conduct proof of concept, engage vendors, and select products. Provide level III support, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks. Work directly with vendor contacts to resolve technical problems related to services and uptime. Coordinate all infrastructure activities including design/installation of new hardware, backup/recovery, ensuring high availability and business continuity. Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot server configuration and performance; develop procedures to respond in a timely manner. Develop and test scripts to automate routine tasks. Create, maintain, and improve documents/procedures, and train peers and team members on the procedures. Participate and provide third‑level production support on a rotating basis or when called upon. 5–10% travel may be required. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and customer service skills. 5–7 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of complex infrastructure solutions. Experience with O365 Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure. Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS. Experience in Windows Server environments (2008‑2022): Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Group Policy, Printing Services. Disaster recovery planning and best practices. Server/system/application monitoring. Process and operational knowledge of foundational technology: automated software distribution, security patch management, backup tools (e.g., Veeam), scripting/automation (PowerShell, VB, Shell Script), SaaS applications, product/platform evaluation and recommendation. Ability to engineer solutions for SaaS and IaaS technologies using scripts/API calls. Nice to have: Basic understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NetApp, etc.).
