To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. In this role, you will Coordinate workload planning in the day-to-day operation of warehouse repair and overhaul activities in support of VISSC, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, processing material returns, investigating equipment prices and availability, and input and maintenance of material management systems. Assist the Warehouse Manager with the development of colleagues’ skills and competencies. Identify and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities. Generate reports in Babcock’s inventory/enterprise control systems to provide metrics for repair and overhaul activities. Assist the Warehouse Manager with the development/maintenance of all Repair and Overhaul processes and work instructions. Participate in internal and external audits. Engage contractors and sub-contractors to address daily operational needs. Uphold all occupational Health and Safety standards within the warehouse. Participate as a member of either the JHSC or ERT teams. Perform any other roles as deemed necessary and reasonable to support the business. Ideal candidate Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Supply Chain/logistics certification (considered an asset) 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong attention to detail Experience in: receiving, storing, issuing, transporting and distributing material; data entry; warehousing, stock control, and inventory management; documentation control ERP systems experience (e.g., IFS) Knowledge of DND supply chain processes and DRMIS (strong asset) Operation of MHE (pallet jacks, forklifts) (asset – training provided) WHMIS knowledge (asset – training provided) Flexibility for work hours, including early mornings, late afternoons, and on-call weekends Eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance EEO and accommodations Babcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries and to accommodating applicants during the recruitment process as needed.
