Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is a dynamic agency that focuses on providing sexual violence counselling and education services to Calgary and surrounding areas. CCASA is accepting applications for practicum placements for Master of Social Work (Clinical Specialization) and Master of Counselling students for September 2026-April 2027. Must be able to be supervised by a Social Worker (MSW). Practicum students will be required to be on site at the CCASA office. As a Counselling Practicum Student, you will Provide therapeutic counselling to individuals ages 12+ who have experienced sexual assault and sexual abuse as well as their loved ones/support people, in person or via telehealth Conduct a variety of risk assessments, including suicide, domestic violence, child welfare, and shelter/safety Complete various responsibilities of clinical case management, including case notes, supporting documentation, consultation, and referrals Participate in individual as well as team supervision May provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals on CCASA’s Support & Information Line As a requirement of this position successful candidates must satisfy and receive clear results for a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
