Develop design requirements and support product definitions. Collaborate with team members to verify the functionality of the FPGA, software, and hardware. Contribute to design review preparation, execution, and timely action‑item closure for complex issues. Generate specification and design documentation to support cross‑functional aspects of the NPI process. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the design meets requirements according to the project plan. Self‑test all designs and support PV/QA throughout development, including reviewing test plans, validating feedback, and debugging hardware problems. Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies such as stand‑ups, retrospectives, refinement, and sprint kick‑offs. Collaborate to achieve breakthrough results in assigned deliverables. Innovate in design, project management, tools, and workflow to create first‑class FPGA designs. Job Requirements Knowledge of System Verilog and expert proficiency in RTL design capture, synthesis, timing closure, prototyping, and release processes. Expertise in RTL debugging through simulations and in‑FPGA logic analyzers. Proficiency with GIT revision control systems, including branching and tagging. Experience with SoC FPGA interconnects such as Avalon or AXI interfaces. Familiarity with PCI Express, Ethernet 1/10/25/100GE, 12G‑SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort, and compression technologies such as NDI, SRT, AVC/HEVC. Knowledge of high‑speed transceivers, timing recovery/synchronization, DMA engines, hardware acceleration, and high‑performance memory controllers. Experience with UVM‑based testbenches and Vivado or Quartus development tools. Knowledge of C, C++, or Python is a plus. Understanding of digital video, audio, and associated audio standards is a plus. B.S. in Engineering (required). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Organized, detail‑oriented self‑starter with keen observational skills and problem‑solving intuition. Ability to learn quickly, find creative solutions, and balance risks to optimize success. Comfortable contributing as a team member or championing ideas. At least 2 years of FPGA development experience with expertise in Video/Audio technologies (preferred).
