Overview Step into a pivotal role as Account Director on Softchoice’s federal sales team, where you will shape and execute high-impact business strategies across the Department of National Defence (DND) and its ecosystem partners. As a strategic driver, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams at Softchoice and World Wide Technology to transform innovative ideas into measurable business outcomes. This position empowers you to champion Softchoice’s end-to-end vision for our customers, navigate complex market dynamics, and set the pace in a competitive landscape. You’ll inspire and develop a high-performing team, foster executive-level relationships, and lead with purpose to expand market share and accelerate profitable growth. Responsibilities Drive and develop a high performing team for the CAF and National Defense business by creating breakthrough sales strategies and plans Identifying opportunities for large engagements (complex solutions) and developing relevant pursuit strategies. Drive profitable revenue generation across products and services, consistently delivering strong revenue results. Amplify Softchoice’s influence by aligning our solutions with the core mission of the DND Cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships with DND, defense contractors, and OEM partners to unlock new opportunities. Transform ideas into measurable value for National Defence, guiding initiatives from concept to successful outcome. Architect and lead comprehensive selling strategies, leveraging market research and deep insights into DND’s mission requirements and technology trends to create both short- and long-term plans. Willingness to travel up to 25% to foster relationships and drive business growth Qualifications Location & Security: Must be based in the National Capital Region and eligible to obtain federal security clearance; candidates with current Secret-level clearance or higher are strongly preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degrees are highly valued. Federal Sales Expertise: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in federal sales, including at least 5 years working directly with the Department of National Defence. Strategic Account Management: Demonstrated success managing large, complex accounts with multiple business streams, leveraging cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions to solve sophisticated customer challenges. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $138,000 to $173,000. Note: the pay range represents the full pay range for this position. Each individual offer will take into consideration a range of factors, including prior experience and geographic location.
