In order to achieve this, you will:Participate to Bombardier preliminary and critical system design reviewsReview and assess supplier’s airborne software and electronic hardware certification plansReview and assess supplier’s airborne software and electronic (FPGA, ASIC, PLD) designsPerform technical and process audits at supplier’s facilitiesPerform safety of flight reviewsAssess software and hardware test results and analyses and determine final compliance statusLead the resolution of safety, compliance or technical deficiencies with the suppliers and Bombardier stakeholdersPrepare and/or review design compliance reportsContribute to evolution of the SWEL (Software and Electronics) domain roadmapMentor less experienced professionalsQualificationsYou hold a University engineering degree in Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalentYou have a minimum of 15 years of experience in a technical engineering field, including a minimum of 10 years in aeronauticsYou have a minimum of 5 years of FPGA or ASIC development and / or embedded software development for aerospace applicationsYou have thorough working knowledge of airborne software and electronic hardware guidance and Means of CompliancesRTCA DO-178B/C, DO-248B/C, DO-254, DO-330EASA CM-SWCEH-002 (associated with DO-178B) and CM-SWCEH-001FAA AC 20-115D and AC 20-152AFAA Order A and AYou have knowledge of requirements capture environments (DOORS, JAMA)You have working knowledge of multiple programming languages (C, C++, Ada95, Assembly, Python) and multiple hardware description languagesYou have knowledge of embedded computer architecturesYou have knowledge of operating systems and real-time executivesYou have general knowledge in electronics and software programmingYou have experience with civil aircraft and airworthiness authoritiesYou are member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)You have demonstrated that you are pro-active, adaptable and flexible, you take initiative, you are innovative, have a strong sense of accountability and integrityHow to thrive in this role Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position.
