Perform stress analysis of aircraft structures using FEM tools and classical methods. Evaluate static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance at the aircraft level. Prepare stress reports and documentation for certification authorities (FAA, EASA, DGCA). Collaborate with design, loads, aerodynamics, and manufacturing teams to optimize structural layouts. Support ground and flight test programs, correlating analytical predictions with test results. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and review their analysis work. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in aircraft stress analysis or structural engineering. Strong knowledge of fatigue, fracture mechanics, and composite analysis. Proficiency in FEM tools (e.g., NASTRAN, HyperMesh). Familiarity with certification requirements (CS-25, FAR Part 25). Excellent communication and technical writing skills. Preferred Experience Aircraft-level stress analysis and integration. Exposure to commercial aircraft development programs.
