Responsibilities & Competencies Actively adjust claims while ensuring business development opportunities are maximized through marketing and timely follow‑up. Maintain an independent portfolio that requires strong organizational skills to complete day‑to‑day activities and efficiently progress file management. Analyze cause‑and‑effect dynamics, draw valid conclusions, and communicate them clearly. Interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical calculations, including comparative analysis. Apply effective analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills. Demonstrate leadership skills, a sense of urgency, responsiveness, and a proactive customer‑service approach. Qualifications & Experience University degree or post‑secondary education related to insurance. Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in Personal and/or Commercial lines Auto Property Damage (PD). Personal Property claims experience is an asset. Effective analytical and investigative skills. Ability to interpret complex documents and perform advanced numerical calculations. Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation. Strong written and oral communication skills appropriate for diverse audiences. Good listening, interviewing, negotiating, and conflict‑resolution skills. Proactive, positive customer service orientation and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
