We're looking for a CRM expert who sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You're the person who can translate a lifecycle hypothesis into a working journey by Friday, then spend Monday analyzing the results and building the next test. You understand segmentation logic, trigger architecture, and why a well‑timed email beats a generic blast every time. This isn't a role for someone who just deploys campaigns — you shape them. You'll support the development of CRM strategies through data and insights, then roll up your sleeves to build, test and optimize the journeys that bring those strategies to life. You work across multiple clients, multiple platforms and multiple channels — including email, SMS, push — adapting your approach to fit different tech stacks and business models. What you'll do Support strategy development : collaborate with internal teams to develop lifecycle strategies, campaign frameworks and segmentation models grounded in data and customer insights. Build and optimize lifecycle journeys : design, configure and launch automated journeys across welcome flows, abandonment sequences, re‑engagement campaigns and post‑purchase nurture programs. Lead campaign execution : own end‑to‑end deployment of campaigns across channels from brief through build, QA, launch and performance analysis. Manage segmentation and targeting : work with analytics to create audience segments based on behavioral, transactional and demographic data. Own QA and launch readiness : ensure every campaign is tested, approved and ready to perform. Execute structured testing programs : design and manage A/B tests that drive measurable performance improvements. Coordinate across teams : work with creative teams for asset development, content teams for messaging, developers for platform integrations and more. Track, analyze and optimize : monitor performance, analyze results, identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Adapt across platforms and clients : you'll work with different CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or others) depending on client tech stacks. You're platform‑agnostic and can learn new tools quickly. What you bring 5 - 7 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing or retention marketing—ideally in an agency, brand, or consultancy environment where you've worked across multiple clients or business models. Lifecycle and automation knowledge to create trigger‑based lifecycle communications and mapping for different areas of a customer journey. Multi‑platform adaptability working with platforms like Klaviyo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Iterable, or similar as clients require. Strong understanding of reporting on conversion and deliverability, running A/B testing frameworks, and more. Obsessive attention to detail with rigorous QA discipline. You catch typos, broken links, and misconfigured logic before campaigns go live - because you know the cost of mistakes. Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients, campaigns, and timelines simultaneously without dropping balls. You keep clean documentation, update project trackers, and communicate proactively when timelines shift. Data‑informed decision making : you use data to guide decisions, not just report on what happened. You know how to read metrics, spot trends, and translate insights into action. Collaborative energy : you thrive working across disciplines—strategists, analysts, creatives, developers and know how to rally people around a shared goal. Curiosity about what's next : interested in how AI, automation, and personalization are evolving CRM. You're not waiting for the playbook to be written—you're helping write it. Benefits Dollar‑for‑dollar retirement match with increasing contribution over time. Training and subscription support for professional development. Flexible working hours and hybrid work model. Comprehensive health and dental coverage. Generous vacation policy, extended weekends, and paid holidays. Role type: New Location: Downtown Toronto, Hybrid Salary: $90,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience As an equal opportunity employer our goal is to build a diverse workforce that is representative, at all job levels, of the world we live in.
