Job description : The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Avionics System Architecture Specialist to join our Avionics System Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will define the future architecture of the A220's on‑board electronic systems. You will be part of the Avionics Architecture and Integration team responsible for developing the interface and architecture specifications for the aircraft's surveillance, communication and navigation systems. In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring cohesion within the Airbus Group in order to leverage the best of what other entities within the group can offer or have already developed on similar topics, thereby enabling overall efficiency in service of the A220 program. The team organization is established to promote cross‑collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively. Your role as Avionics System Architecture Specialist will be to drive the technical definition of avionics architectures, ensuring their compliance with flight safety and performance 있rceptions. Your challenges: Define and maintain the system architecture for critical avionics functionalities; Evaluate technical solutions proposed by suppliers and integrate them into the overall architecture; Ensure full traceability from high‑level requirements to detailed design specifications; Collaborate with safety and reliability teams to validate the robustness of the architecture; Contribute to the technology roadmap for next‑generation avionics systems; Support system integration and verification phases by providing architecture expertise.
