Job Description Omnissa is an AI‑driven digital work platform that enables secure, flexible, and seamless work experiences from any device. Our platform integrates unified endpoint management, virtual apps and desktops, digital employee experience, and security & compliance services on a common data, identity, and automation foundation.We are looking for a seasoned Engineer (5–18 years of experience) to join our Horizon Remote Experience Engineering team. You will architect and design enterprise software and cloud services, lead the implementation of AI/ML integration for virtual desktop environments, and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product and component teams across the organization.Serve as a subject‑matter expert on key data‑pipeline and platform components.Interact with product management and cross‑functional groups, both internal and external, to define and deliver required solutions.Participate in all phases of software development: requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.Drive product deployments on VMware vSphere and public clouds such as Azure and AWS.Take ownership of product architecture, design, quality, user experience, and security, including AI/ML framework integration.Develop web applications for VDI environments across all browser platforms using HTML and Typescript.Debug complex problems and analyze stack traces from crash dumps.Implement and improve DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes.Use tools such as Git, Perforce, JIRA, and Jenkins.Respond to customer and product escalations and help prioritize engineering work.Manage daily engineering activities (stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, architectural reviews, customer support, release readiness).Communicate regularly with product management and release teams across geographies.Coordinate with support teams to meet customer needs.Mentor junior engineers with technical guidance and direction.Identify new areas of improvement for products, tools, and processes.Champion a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.QualificationsStrong foundation in designing enterprise software or cloud services.Proficiency in HTML, Typescript, and web application development for VDI.Experience deploying to VMware vSphere and public clouds (Azure, AWS).Deep knowledge of browser technologies and software architecture.Familiarity with AI/ML integration in software products.Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and analysis of crash dumps.Experience with Git, Perforce, JIRA, and Jenkins.Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.BenefitsHealth & wellness benefitsProtection benefitsFinancial benefitsTime off & leaveCompetitive compensation package with corporate bonus eligibilityEmployee ownership and 401(k) matchDisability insurance and paid time offGrowth opportunities and professional development supportLocation & Position DetailsLocation: Vancouver, Canada (Hybrid)Position type: Full‑time, permanentEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)Base salary range: $152,200.00 – $253,650.00 per year, with potential for bonuses and other benefits#J-18808-Ljbffr
