We currently have a contract role as a Senior Network Security Engineer with our large consulting client on a long‑term project for a major financial services client in downtown Montreal. Role Senior Network Security Engineer Type Full‑time, Perm Location Downtown Montreal, QC – Hybrid (initially 5 days in office for the first 3 months, then 3 days onsite and 2 days from home) Salary $90,000 – $95,000 + bonus + 3–5 weeks paid vacation (based on seniority) + RRSP contribution + benefits + sick/personal days + additional perks such as health spending, phone, public transport discounts and more Responsibilities Operate and support network security infrastructure, including firewalls, web proxies, VPN gateways, and load balancers Lead and deliver network security projects Provide on‑call support Requirements CCNP or CCIE (Security or Enterprise) Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point certifications CISSP or equivalent security certification Languages: English and French (nice to have) Nice to have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering 10+ years of experience in network and network security engineering, including operational support and project delivery IT service management certifications (e.g., ITIL) #J-18808-Ljbffr
