Who you are: You are a seasoned technical professional passionate about technology, looking to drive technical success in large, strategic opportunities and increase revenue. What you'll do: Drive the technical success in Geotab’s pursuit of large and strategic opportunities, positioning the best solutions and product features to customers based on segment knowledge. Work closely with Business Development, Sales, Product Management, and other Solutions Engineering teams to develop segmentation strategies, tools, and educational content. Identify product gaps per segment, provide alternatives or feedback to product teams, and leverage professional services as needed. How you'll make an impact: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, empowering end‑users, partners, and internal teams through knowledge sharing. Collaborate with the channel team to optimize partner utilization of Geotab technology. Lead technical pre‑sales activities (discovery, demos, pilots, POCs) to enhance customer engagement. Contribute to product improvement through segment-based feedback. Guide and mentor other Solutions Engineers and support seamless implementation of solutions. What you'll bring to the role: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in a technical field; customer‑facing roles. Business acumen and a desire to drive revenue through pre‑sales engagements. Strong technical knowledge of telematics, IoT, and related technologies. Problem‑solving, critical thinking, and customer‑focused mindset. Experience with sales or business development and pursuit of opportunities. Excellent communication, presentation, and programming language skills (Python, SQL, Java, C#). Experience with API integrations. Experience with Agile, JIRA, Salesforce, and data visualization tools (Superset, Power BI). Time‑management, organizational abilities, and adaptability to emerging tech.
