What You'll Do As Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the organisation’s cloud transformation by designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud network architectures. Working closely with Infrastructure, Security, and broader IT teams, you will be the hands‑on technical lead for the development of modern cloud and hybrid networking solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), while ensuring performance, resilience, and security across enterprise environments. Additional Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end cloud network architectures, standards, and reference patterns across public cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., TGW, ELB, VPCs). Implement and manage IaC solutions using Terraform to automate cloud network provisioning and configuration, including Palo Alto PA‑VM deployment and WAF. Integrate cloud networking solutions with on‑premises and hybrid environments (SD‑WAN), including data centres, offices, and SaaS platforms. Define, enforce, and manage network security controls—including firewalls, VPNs, routing policies, and segmentation—to protect enterprise infrastructure. Lead architecture decisions for cloud networking platforms and services, ensuring alignment with security, budget, and enterprise standards. Provide technical leadership during major incidents and change events, conducting root cause analysis and driving long‑term architectural improvements. Evaluate emerging networking technologies and best practices, continuously improving network resilience, scalability, and performance. Partner with cross‑functional teams and vendors to deliver cloud networking initiatives, including vendor selection and solution evaluation. Act as the team’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Terraform, mentoring peers and handling day‑to‑day cloud network operations and on‑call duties. Provide hands‑on technical support during major incidents and change events, conducting root cause analysis and driving long‑term improvements. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years’ experience in network or cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise‑scale environments. Deep knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, TGW, ELB, WAF, VPNs, SD‑WAN, and firewalls. Demonstrable, production‑level experience writing and managing AWS cloud services and IaC using Terraform – a must. Strong understanding of network security principles and enterprise networking technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, and Meraki experience is a strong plus). Proven ability to influence technical direction, collaborate cross‑functionally, and provide architectural leadership in complex environments. The typical hiring range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 annually; the base pay is determined by market location and job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
