Job Summary Rakuten Rewards Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer with proven work in digital media. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Graphic Design and collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product. The candidate will mentor Junior Designers and work cross‑functionally with teams such as Marketing, Web Development, Social, and Product. Key Responsibilities Concept and execute creative assets while working cross‑functionally with many teams across the organization. Create flawless executions. Gather, prepare, and present conceptual ideas. Design with clear ideation, using typography, color, texture, spacing, scale, and outstanding graphic skills. Review final designs to ensure they meet established standards and are ready for consumer use. Provide ideas that influence, increase, and enhance the Rakuten brand. Initiate and drive industry best practices. Demonstrate knowledge of channel design and implement best‑in‑class channel‑specific content. Create presentations that effectively communicate vision and goals; communicate concepts to design leads and executives. Assist the team during high‑volume periods with asset production. Minimum Requirements Strong portfolio of creative executions. High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Adobe After Effects. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience designing within the retail/ecommerce space, including native mobile apps and responsive web. Passion for continuous learning and improvement. Willingness to learn, implement, and share AI prompting techniques to enhance workflow. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize work to meet timelines. Product experience creating user journeys, wireframes, and information architecture; experience supporting user research and understanding various research methods is an asset. Qualification Requirements 5+ years of Graphic Design work experience. Graduated from an accredited 3‑4 year Design Program. Compensation and Benefits Compensation (base salary + discretionary bonus) ranges from CAD $77,837.00 to $122,548.53 annually, based on job‑related factors including skills, qualifications, experience, business need, and geographic location.
