This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams of engineers, machinists, and technicians to machine high‑precision components for cutting‑edge technologies. What You'll Do Set up and operate various CNC and manual grinding machines Manage the full process from drawing review to completed parts, including programming, tooling orders, machine setup, manual measurements, and adjustments based on CMM data Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to develop machining processes for complex components Program components for machines using conversational programming practices Maintain machine tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance Implement 5S methodology (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) to drive continuous improvement in the lab workspace Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment What You'll Bring Red Seal certification preferred or equivalent experience Experience in abrasive CNC and manual grinding processes Experience in precision gear/thread machining considered an asset Proficiency in working with tight tolerances in metric units (microns) Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Solid understanding of GD&T as per ASME Y14.5 #J-18808-Ljbffr
