Our team provides strategic advice on corporate governance matters to Canada’s leading public and private companies, institutional investors, and develops creative solutions to complex corporate and securities law questions. We also work as part of Osler’s multi-disciplinary shareholder activism, risk management and crisis response practices to help boards and senior leadership teams anticipate and respond to business-critical scenarios. Position Requirements A minimum of 2-4 years of general corporate and securities law experience gained from a leading law firm in Canada, the United States, or the United Kingdom Experience in corporate governance or a strong interest in focusing on corporate governance, public company disclosure and shareholder activism A self‑starter attitude who embraces challenges and thrives in a fast‑paced setting Exceptional client service skills and business acumen Excellent communication and drafting skills, and attention to detail Strong academic credentials Compensation Compensation offered ranges from $155,000 to $200,000, based on year of call, job‑related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
