IMMEDIATE INTERIM OPPORTUNITY Interim Strategist/Head of AI Enablement Duration: 18 Months Location: Hybrid – Financial District –3-4 days in office A mid-sized client is seeking an Interim Strategist/Head of AI Enablement to take ownership of building the organization’s AI strategy, governance framework, establishing a Centre of Excellence, and driving adoption across the enterprise. Success will be measured by the value of “wins” delivered and the substantive solutions against the initial use cases. Key Accountabilities: Build the enterprise AI strategy & roadmap with the Senior Team. Drive AI literacy throughout the organization – being a teacher, mentor, trailblazer. Establish the governance framework around responsible use of AI, data privacy and security, model risk and safe adoption. Establish business unit champions and equip them with the training, tools and support they need. Help identify key use cases to get some initial wins to the finish line. Work with the Technology organization to select AI platforms (they have Copilot now), tools and partners. Establish measurements to track value realization. Competencies and Requirements: Significant (10+ years) contributions to digital transformation or data intelligence. Proven experience building and scaling AI programs. Strong understanding of AI governance, risk and compliance frameworks . Experience leading cross-functional programs involving multiple functions. Ability to lead change and drive adoption. This will appeal to someone who wants to “own” the program. This will be a solo role reporting to the CIO.
