Position Overview The Area Sales Manager role is the primary contact for Dealer principals and key dealership managers to lead and manage change within the dealership toward the fulfillment of the Volkswagen critical targets. Under the direction of the National Manager, Sales, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for providing virtual support to all aspects in the development, and monitoring of the Area's new and used vehicle sales programs, and vehicle forecasting and allocations consistent with the achievement of our critical targets. You'll guide customers through the buying process - personally, by phone, or digitally. The role covers the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing. Base Compensation : Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications. Possible Tasks within this Role Develop, implement and adjust (as required) Area and Dealer Business plans to achieve critical targets, aggressively capitalizing on growth opportunities Direct all aspects of the Dealer’s new and used vehicle operations to deliver upon the corporate objectives. Establish strategy and initiate tactics with Dealer management on inventory and sales analysis to predict dealerships short‑term and long‑term needs.
