Position Description We are expanding in Atlantic Canada and seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder projects. Your future duties and responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop project charters, work plans, schedules, budgets, and risk/issue logs. Manage cross‑functional project teams, including business stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and decision‑making sessions with project sponsors and leadership. Ensure alignment with organizational priorities, governance frameworks, and project management standards. Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and prepare clear status reports for leadership. Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalation when required. Support procurement processes, vendor evaluation, contract management, and implementation oversight. Coordinate change management, training, and readiness activities to support successful adoption. Ensure compliance with privacy, security, accessibility, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of progressive project management experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives. Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope. Strong skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and vendor oversight. Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience applying project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, hybrid approaches). Preferred Experience managing projects within the utility or public sector environments. Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. Experience with digital transformation, infrastructure, enterprise systems, or service modernization projects. Familiarity with change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$155,000.
