Engineering Student - Structural Analysis - Fall 2026 Job Category:EngineeringPosted:May 14, 2026Job Type:Full-TimeLocation: Sainte-Anne-de-BellevueWe’re on the hunt for a motivated and talentedEngineering Studentin our Structural Analysis department at ourSainte-Anne-de-Bellevueoffice. This is a 4‑month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in September 2026.Overall the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.Under the supervision of a senior analyst, the successful candidate will perform structural analyses of space antennas and electronic equipment using the finite element method.Responsibilities:Analyses will include static, dynamic and thermoelastic analyses;Using commercial software or software developed at MDA, he/she will calculate the safety margins of components;He/she will size components, identify problems and suggest modifications if necessary;He/she may be required to generate test procedures and structural analysis or test reports to demonstrate compliance of subsystems.Experience and skills required:Completion of 90 Bachelor's degree credits in Mechanical Engineering prior to the start of the internship with a GPA above 3.2 / 4.0;Demonstrate a sense of initiative;Successfully completed a course in finite element analysis;Knowledge of Nx software;Comments/Special Considerations:Successful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).An equal opportunity employer prizing diversity, integrity and collaboration, we are committed to growing MDA’s and Canada’s leadership in this next golden age.MDA is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
