Job Description About the Job We areseeking a Senior Scrum Master with strong experience supporting SAP andFinance transformation initiatives to lead Agile delivery within complexenterprise environments. This role combines servant leadership, programdelivery oversight, and financial systems governance to ensure reliable,compliant, and high-quality releases across SAP and finance platforms. The ideal candidate willfacilitate Agile excellence while supporting cross-functional teams working on SAPmodules, finance systems, integrations, and enterprise data platforms. Therole will partner closely with Finance stakeholders, SAP functional teams,architects, and enterprise technology teams to deliver scalable financialsolutions aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements. Office Location: Toronto Employment Type: Permanent Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2days in office per week) Position Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including SprintPlanning, Daily Standups, Reviews/Demos, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. Drive Agile best practices across teamsdelivering SAP and Finance transformation initiatives. Lead Scrum of Scrums sessions tocoordinate dependencies between SAP functional teams, integration teams,finance stakeholders, and data teams. Proactively identify and remove impedimentsimpacting SAP releases, financial reporting cycles, and system integrations. Ensure sprint commitments align with businessfinance priorities, compliance needs, and regulatory deadlines. Promote Agile maturity and foster a culture of continuousimprovement and transparency. SAP & Finance Delivery Oversight Coordinate development and delivery across SAPfunctional consultants, technical developers, integration teams, andfinance SMEs. Facilitate backlog grooming to ensure user storiesreflect finance processes, accounting rules, and compliancerequirements. Ensure appropriate validation and testing of financialworkflows, reporting logic, and data accuracy. Support integration initiatives between SAP, ERPsystems, data warehouses, and downstream financial applications. Monitor release readiness related to month-end,quarter-end, and year-end financial cycles. Program & Delivery Management Develop and maintain project plans, releaseroadmaps, and quality milestones. Manage cross-team dependencies involving SAP,Finance ,Operations Monitor velocity, sprint predictability, defecttrends, and financial tracking at program level. Implement risk mitigation strategies forhigh-impact releases. Apply SDLC governance and best practices, andensure required artifacts are maintained. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management Serve as the primary liaison between Financebusiness leaders, Product Owners, SAP teams, Architecture, and ITleadership. Facilitate alignment between business financepriorities and technology delivery timelines. Provide transparent reporting on deliveryprogress, risks, and release readiness. Manage and resolve cross-team dependenciesaffecting finance transformation initiatives. Support financial governance initiatives including auditreadiness, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements. Leadership & Coaching Mentor teams on Agile best practices withinenterprise SAP and finance environments. Coach Product Owners and Finance stakeholders on Agilebacklog management and prioritization strategies. Facilitate retrospectives and root causeanalysis to improve delivery performance. Contribute to Agile communities of practice andhelp evolve delivery standards for SAP programs. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Information Systems, Finance, or related field. 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working within Agile environments. Strong understanding of enterprise SDLC,Agile frameworks, and release management practices. Experience managing delivery for SAP, orFinance transformation initiatives. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionalteams across business and technology domains. Experience managing complex dependencies in large-scaleenterprise programs. Excellent communication, facilitation, andstakeholder management skills. Strong servant leadership mindset with provenability to resolve delivery impediments. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or coreSAP Finance modules (FI/CO, AR/AP, GL). Exposure to financial reporting, accountingprocesses, and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience working in banking, financialservices, retail finance, or enterprise corporate finance environments. Agile certifications such as SAFe, CSM, PSM,PMI-ACP. Experience supporting large-scale Agileprograms or Release Train environments. Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 CAD/year The final compensation offered will depend on local market conditions and geographic location, as well asjob-related factors such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications,relevant experience, and education/training.
