Responsibilities Manage human and material resources, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluation of the team Develop performance evaluation reports and set annual objectives for the team Demonstrate positive leadership in change management, crisis management, and achieving objectives aligned with the company’s vision and values Develop team capabilities and support decision‑making, analysis, and execution of tasks Participate in the development and optimization of procurement procedures, methods, and policies for this category Communicate expectations clearly and ensure alignment with key organizational messages Maintain strong working relationships with all internal stakeholders Ensure optimal execution of procurement processes and team deliverables Maintain optimal inventory levels across all warehouses for the team’s portfolios Analyze procurement performance indicators and implement corrective actions Ensure maintenance and optimization of procurement parameters across portfolios Conduct strategic analyses and develop supply plans, assessing financial and operational impacts Address supply chain issues with relevant stakeholders Apply procurement policies and procedures Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Administration (Operations and Logistics Management) or Industrial Engineering 10 to 15 years of experience in procurement and planning within a retail or distribution environment 5 to 10 years of direct team management experience Strong knowledge of MRP concepts Experience with inventory and warehouse management systems (ERP) Bilingualism (English and French), both spoken and written Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Ideal Candidate Strong communicator and influencer with positive leadership Able to prioritize and adapt quickly, with a strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proactive, enthusiastic, and demonstrates initiative Professional, with strong listening and communication skills Benefits Canadian flagship with strong reputation and excellent recognition Mature and stable company offering a safe working environment Continuous growth and expanding opportunities Competitive base compensation based on the market Opportunity to become a shareholder Work‑life balance with a flexible environment Commitment to supplying high‑quality products Career development and continuing education support #J-18808-Ljbffr
