Overview NTT DATA is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join its team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement AI models. Analyze and improve existing AI architectures. Research and implement new AI technologies and methodologies. Work with data scientists and stakeholders to understand business needs and goals. Ensure AI systems are aligned with the company’s business strategy. Provide expertise and guidance on AI capabilities and systems. Ensure all AI initiatives follow compliance and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other teams to implement and improve AI functionality. Build AI agents from scratch using product requirements. Develop agents, test scenarios, and write simulation tests. Interface directly with clients to ensure agent meets their needs and integrates with necessary APIs and databases. Review live conversations and client feedback; identify negative conversations and create issues for improvement. Regularly monitor and evaluate metrics for ongoing agent improvement. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AI and related domains. Minimum 3-5 years experience in conceptualizing and architecting AI solutions. Minimum 3-5 years experience supporting professional services sales cycle including proposal development, RFP responses, and account expansion initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Project leadership experience with a global team (Nice to have). Relevant certifications in AI domains (Nice to have). Skills Hands‑on software development experience (5+ years). Senior software engineering level or above. Experience crafting and tailoring messages for customers, including executives. AI‑related experience, particularly in developing code‑based AI agents. Experience with React, TypeScript, and Go. Understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering basics. Proficiency with Git version control, terminal, and standard engineering workflows. Strong understanding of React JS fundamentals and component lifecycle.
