The SAP BODS Developer supports Client’s data integration and analytics landscape by designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions that move data from SAP and non-SAP systems into enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms. The role focuses on data accuracy, performance, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability within a utility environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain SAP BODS ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from:SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA (IS-U, FI, CO, PM)Metering, billing, customer information systems (CIS)Legacy and third-party applicationsBuild and manage:Dataflows, workflows, scripts, and transformsError-handling, logging, and recovery mechanismsOptimize BODS jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability in batch and near–real-time processingImplement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to meet regulatory and audit requirementsSupport data integration for:Gas distribution operationsRegulatory reporting (Ontario Energy Board / compliance reporting)Finance, asset management, and customer analyticsCollaborate with:Business analysts and data architectsSAP functional teamsReporting and BI teams (BW, Power BI, SAP BO)Participate in:SDLC activities (design, development, testing, deployment)Production support, incident resolution, and performance tuningMaintain technical documentation, job schedules, mappings, and run booksTechnical Skills & ExperienceStrong hands‑on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)Solid understanding of:ETL architecture and data warehousing conceptsSAP source systems (ECC / S4HANA, IS-U preferred)Proficiency in:SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA)Data profiling, cleansing, and transformationsExperience with:Control‑M, Autosys, or equivalent job schedulersUnix/Linux environmentsVersion control and migration practicesFamiliarity with utility‑industry data such as:Meter reads & consumption dataBilling and revenueAsset and pipeline information (preferred)Strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work in a regulated utility environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder coordinationDetail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistencyAble to support production environments with SLA accountability#J-18808-Ljbffr
