Territory Manager – Eastern Canada BlackLine invites an energetic and strategic Territory Manager to lead the adoption of our flagship finance and accounting automation solutions across Eastern Canada. The role is focused on winning new logos with companies under $2 billion in revenue and strategically expanding our footprint within existing customer accounts. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by closing new logos within Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Generate leads through prospecting, partner collaboration, and marketing‑generated opportunities; maintain a healthy pipeline. Own the entire sales cycle—identify key business priorities, build C‑level relationships, deliver product demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and close multi‑year subscription agreements. Collaborate with Pre‑Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure smooth hand‑off and long‑term customer success. Build and maintain high‑value relationships with stakeholders; articulate the value of our solutions to finance and accounting professionals at all levels. Track and forecast sales activity using Salesforce, Clari, Gong, and Sales Navigator; provide weekly updates and quarterly forecasts to management. Support team members with leadership and guidance on assigned accounts. Identify opportunities for client testimonials and case studies from newly acquired accounts. Required Qualifications 5+ years of B2B SaaS "hunter" sales experience selling complex enterprise cloud software to mid‑to‑large enterprises. Demonstrated history of quota attainment and managing the full sales lifecycle from lead to close to go‑live. Strong relationship‑building skills with experience selling to buying committees, especially finance, ERP, and CFO leads. Experience with account planning, relationship mapping, and Target Account Selling methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication; fluent in English and French. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT, or related field; MBA preferred. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Desired Profile Knowledge of the cloud SaaS industry and accounting background is a bonus. Proven ability to close high‑value SaaS deals (six or seven‑figure annual revenue).
