Your new role The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the safe, efficient repair and maintenance of surface electrical equipment and infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership to electrical maintenance teams, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, supports reliable power supply to site operations, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance performance. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in the mining industry is required. Minimum of five 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical field, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong understanding of electrical theory, codes, standards, tools, and best practices applicable to industrial and mining environments. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems, including surface power distribution and infrastructure. Proven safety leadership and a strong safety record, with the ability to support achievement of safety, environmental, equipment protection, and production goals. Experience working with CMMS systems (SAP preferred). Excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills. Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce, including employees and contractors. Proficient in computer applications, including CMMS, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including working outdoors in varied weather conditions and responding to operational needs, including after-hours support as required.
