This role is responsible for the complete customer lifecycle, from pre‑sales solutioning and technical demonstrations to post‑sales implementation. This expert orchestrates complex, large‑scale Google Workspace and change management transformations, ensuring technology adoption translates directly into quantifiable business value and operational efficiency. The Workspace Solution Architect will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they effectively leverage Google Workspace and relevant ISV solutions to meet business objectives. This client‑facing role is a critical revenue driver and requires unparalleled leadership to influence stakeholders across Sales, Offerings, and Global Delivery teams and work alongside other pre‑sales resources like field CTOs and CE’s. What you will be doing: Pre-Sales and Solutioning Lead the most complex, multi-faceted pre‑sales engagements, crafting bespoke solution architectures that integrate Google Workspace with existing enterprise systems and ISV solutions. Drive the commercial scoping and technical validation for multi‑million dollar deals, partnering with Sales to prepare and deliver customer pitches and solution proposals. Collaborate closely with the Delivery team to create accurate effort estimations and scope, and provide expert review and sign‑off on Statements of Work (SOWs) for technical feasibility and risk mitigation. Support sales representatives in the technical pre‑sales process by delivering on technical components of a Deployment Planning Workshop and executing Workspace and associated ISV overviews and demos, consulting, scope and SOW reviews. Delivery and Consulting Drive the technical execution of post‑sales engagements, including solution transitions and platform migrations. Oversee and drive the technical strategy for large‑scale platform migrations and enterprise‑wide Google Workspace deployments, ensuring flawless execution and sustained user adoption. Perform hands‑on architectural design, advanced configuration, and serve as the ultimate escalation authority for complex Workspace issues. Maintain a consistent, high utilization/billable target (50%), directly contributing to practice revenue and profitability. Offering Development and Partner Engagement Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, actively working with the Offerings Manager to develop and scale new service offerings and intellectual property around the Google Workspace platform. Cultivate deep, strategic relationships with Google Cloud and key ISV partners to co‑develop innovative solutions and drive a robust referral network. Build and nurture partner ecosystems by proactively identifying, building, and maintaining strong relationships with counterparts at Google, including Customer Engineers, Partner Engineers, and sales teams. Engage with a network of ISV partners to stay current on complementary technologies and foster a collaborative environment for joint solution development and go‑to‑market strategies. Thought Leadership and Customer Enablement Define and champion the 3‑5 year digital workplace roadmap for enterprise clients, aligning Google Workspace investments with core business objectives. Produce high‑impact thought leadership content (e.g., white papers, industry conference presentations) that positions the organization as a market leader in Google Workspace transformation. Interact with and explain technical details, issues, and solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. What we need from you: Experience & Technical Mastery 10+ years of progressive experience in IT consulting or technical architecture, with at least 5 years specifically focused on designing and deploying enterprise‑scale Google Workspace solutions. Deep, demonstrable expertise in the entire Google Workspace suite, including advanced deployment strategies, data migration, security configurations, and the ability to leverage and integrate third‑party products & solutions. Executive Consulting & Business Acumen Proven ability to engage, influence, and manage relationships with executive‑level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CISO) and align technology solutions with measurable business outcomes. Demonstrated experience leading the technical component of a sales process, including sophisticated product demonstrations, technical objection handling, and complex scoping. In‑depth understanding of the technology partner ecosystem and how to leverage ISV solutions to create comprehensive customer offerings. Leadership & Communication Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to both technical and non‑technical executive audiences. Demonstrated ability to act as a true consultant and trusted advisor, ensuring customers use the Google Workspace platform efficiently and effectively. Certifications (Non‑Negotiable) Google Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer (formerly Google Workspace Administrator Certification) – required.
