We are seeking a hands-on Java Developer (Level 3) with strong experience in building and enhancing Java-based enterprise applications. The role will focus on both existing and new initiatives within the Sanctions suite of applications, including business-driven customizations as well as architectural and infrastructure improvements. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development activities following SDLC standards and will work closely with global teams in an agile environment. Experience in financial services, AML, and sanctions-related systems is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications following SDLC standards Work on both new initiatives and enhancements to existing Sanctions suite applications Implement customizations to support evolving business and regulatory requirements Contribute to architectural and infrastructure improvements Analyze complex business use cases and design appropriate technical solutions Collaborate with global development and business teams Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable application development Leverage team expertise and best practices to ensure application success Required Skills 6+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and advanced Java development Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot Experience developing RESTful and Web Services (REST, SOAP) Strong understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming concepts Experience working with XML, JSON Strong relational database experience including SQL and query tuning Understanding of service design concepts Experience working in Agile development environments Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and professional skills Preferred Skills Experience with Microservices architecture Knowledge of SOA and high-quality software design methodologies Ability to read and create design and process flow diagrams Experience with Linux and shell scripting (Perl, Python, etc.) Angular UI experience is a plus Financial domain knowledge, especially AML, sanctions, or customer risk ranking methodologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
