Your new company Our client is a mineral exploration company focused on large scale and high-grade Canadian exploration opportunities. The Company is advancing the 25,000-hectare project in Ontario, a growing copper-molybdenum porphyry system in Northern Ontario with expanding scale and discovery upside. As our client increases drilling capacity and expanding their technical footprint, we are seeking an experienced, field-driven Senior Geologist to join their core technical team and act as an exploration manager. Your new role You will oversee multi-rig drill programs, manage day-to-day geological execution, and help shape the next phase of discovery. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical experience with calm field leadership and strong communication skills. You will work directly with senior management and technical advisors, contributing meaningfully to strategy, reporting, and execution in a rapidly advancing exploration environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned exploration professional who thrives in active drill environments and takes pride in building strong, capable teams in the field. Oversee active drill programs (multiple rigs) including planning, supervision, and quality control Lead and mentor field geologists and technicians Conduct and supervise detailed core logging (lithology, alteration, structure, mineralization) Ensure rigorous sample management, QA/QC implementation, and data integrity Integrate geological, structural, geochemical, and geophysical data in real time to guide drilling decisions Provide clear daily/weekly reporting to senior leadership Contribute to technical memos, press release content, and board-level updates Support budgeting, contractor coordination, and operational planning Maintain strong safety culture and compliance with Ontario regulations Engage respectfully with local communities and contractors What you need to succeed 7+ years of mineral exploration experience Demonstrated leadership overseeing multi-rig drill programs Extensive core logging experience in intrusive and/or porphyry systems (copper experience strongly preferred) Proven Northern Ontario field experience is an asset Strong structural interpretation capability Deep understanding of QA/QC and exploration data management Confident field decision-maker under dynamic conditions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable operating in evolving, fast-paced exploration settings Eligible for P.Geo registration in Ontario (or already registered) What you will get in return Leadership role in an expanding copper discovery Direct access to executive decision-making Competitive compensation aligned with experience Opportunity to shape a system at a meaningful stage of advancement supported by some of the most influential investors in the venture mining space A respectful, collaborative core team environment Opportunity to learn from a senior team with extensive experience successfully running operations in large companies as well as building billions in value from discovery through sale and/or operation
