Reporting to our Director of Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for hiring, training and building a team of successful Business Development Representatives for our Enterprise segment, in the Montreal, Raleigh area, or remotely. This is an in‑person role based at our office. What you’ll do Recruit, hire and develop world‑class BDR talent. Understand and solve customer pain points through MaintainX’s unique value proposition. Drive adoption of our disruptive technology with key decision‑makers in organizations. Coach and motivate the team to over‑achieve targets. Build development plans for each BDR. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation and other departments. Drive new processes and programs to increase outcomes of the team with regards to revenue, pipeline generation and development. Utilize a modern sales tech stack, including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo. Embrace a startup mentality – build something new with an entrepreneurial mindset. About you Prior BDR/SDR leadership experience (1–3 years) at a tech/SaaS company. Proven track record in building and leading high‑performing teams that hit stretch goals. Experience forging relationships between BDR teams and Marketing, Sales and other functions. History of over‑achievement and belonging in the top 10 % of your current organization. Scientific approach to hiring ‘A’‑player BDRs with future sales executive potential. Self‑starter who solves problems, makes sound decisions and executes. Learner who invests in self‑development to continually improve. Comfortable moving fast, multitasking and keeping energy high. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and listening skills. Positive, passionate, creative, organized, smart, high‑characterized personality traits. BA degree or higher.
