STEM Collegiate Edmonton | Part-Time | Edmonton, AB STEM Collegiate Edmonton is seeking a part-time Superintendent of Schools (0.5 FTE) to provide strategic leadership and governance oversight for Alberta’s first collegiate charter school. This role offers a unique opportunity to help steward an innovative STEM-focused charter authority and support strong pathways from secondary education into post-secondary and industry. Reporting to the Board of Directors and working closely with the Founder and school leadership, the Superintendent ensures alignment with Alberta Education legislation, charter assurance requirements, and long-term strategic priorities. The successful candidate will bring strong system-level leadership, sound governance experience, and a commitment to innovation, accountability, and student success. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Board in advancing the charter vision and goals Ensure compliance with Alberta Education legislation, policies, and assurance requirements Lead and support charter planning, results reporting, and accountability submissions Support high-quality student learning, student well-being, and inclusive school environments Provide leadership in financial oversight, personnel practices, and organizational management Build and maintain strong relationships with Alberta Education, community partners, and post-secondary institutions Qualifications Alberta Teaching and Leadership Certification with eligibility for Superintendent Leadership Certification Senior leadership experience in education (charter, public, or independent) Strong knowledge of Alberta’s education system, legislation, and accountability frameworks Demonstrated success in strategic planning and organizational leadership Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and governance skills Passion for STEM education and innovative collegiate pathways Part-time (0.5 FTE) Location: Edmonton, Alberta Salary: Negotiable based on experience and aligned with Alberta superintendent compensation frameworks #J-18808-Ljbffr
