Position: Senior Manager – Expatriate Tax Services BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Expatriate Tax Services team. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and U.S. individual tax returns. Review Canadian and U.S. individual income tax returns. Provide day‑to‑day expatriate tax advice, including queries on items such as individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reporting. Research income tax issues and review memoranda or client letters regarding executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate tax matters. Work closely with the Partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team. Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada with respect to their clients. Experience & Education Professional CPA designation. 7 or more years of professional experience, part or all of which specializes in Expatriate Tax. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French is an asset). Ability to collaborate with team members nationally. Interest in contributing to the training and development of team members.
