Analyst - Data & Financial Reporting, Finance Business Partner Montreal, QC, Canada Job Description The Analyst, Data & Financial Reporting supports the Finance Business Partnering team by delivering accurate reporting, meaningful insights, and high‑quality financial data. The role contributes to financial planning cycles, supports performance analysis, and enhances the team’s data capabilities. The Analyst will work closely with Finance Business Partners and corporate functions to enable informed, data‑driven decisions. Responsibilities Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data from systems (Oracle Fusion, Hyperion/EPM) used by the team. Build robust financial models using multi‑dimensional data sets. Consolidate, validate, and interpret data to support Finance Business Partners. Identify risks, opportunities, and root‑cause issues to improve data and timeliness. Assist in preparation of budget and forecast planning cycles. Develop and maintain standards for financial reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI, etc.). Support the design and enhancement of performance monitoring tools for corporate functions. Ensure data consistency and reliability across reporting processes. Prepare and automate structured reporting packages. Drive the automation and standardisation of reporting processes, reducing manual effort, cycle times, and data inconsistencies while improving reliability and scalability. Contribute to change management initiatives that embed data‑driven decision‑making, including the adoption of common metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators. Collaborate with Finance business partners to optimize financial cycles and analysis production. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, or related field. 1–4 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics and reporting. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to structure and translate data into actionable insights. Excellent command of Excel and Power Query. Proficiency in Power BI, Python, Tableau is an asset. Familiarity with financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion/EPM) is an advantage. Strong ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively and under tight deadlines. Experience in professional services or engineering consulting is considered an asset. Compensation BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $77,400 – $102,500MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200Atlantic Provinces & QC: $69,900 – $92,900 Disclosure The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
