Project Lead - Digital Analog PCB Design Job Category : Engineering Requisition Number : LEADI Posted : April 17, 2026 Position Type : Full-Time Locations Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X3R2, CAN Role The Project Lead Digital-Analog PCB Design will lead a cross‑functional team of hardware designers from conception to validation and integration of mixed‑signal (digital & RF) electronics units used in satellites and other space‑based systems. This role involves leading digital/analog design projects, coordinating with RF, systems, power, digital, manufacturing, structure, packaging, EMC, and thermal specialists, and ensuring program cost, schedule, and technical requirements are met. The mandate is for 12 months. Responsibilities Lead a digital/analog design team for space products. Coordinate a cross‑functional team of members with expertise in RF, systems, power, digital, manufacturing, structure, packaging, EMC, and thermal. Lead the team to deliver on program cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Plan and schedule with various specialties the necessary reviews for deliverables. Oversee procurement production tasks to ensure cost and schedule are met. Prioritize team tasks and goals to meet program milestones. Communicate programmatic aspects of a program to the technical team. Lead sub‑contractor activities and support new business proposal opportunities. Report staffing levels to program manager. Assess risk and make risk‑based decisions with management and the technical team throughout the program lifecycle. Ensure the digital/analog team follows quality and reliability standards. Guide junior members and new employees. Coordinate with technical leads and program managers on converting system level requirements into electronic unit level requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent. Ten (10) years minimum experience designing processor, high‑speed, or mixed‑signal PCBs. Three (3) years of leadership experience, with a track record of leading electronics development teams to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals from start to finish. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, with strong interpersonal and conflict management skills. Cost and schedule planning experience. Knowledge of Agile methodology (PSPO, Management 3.0, Scrum, Agile at scale). Proficiency with Excel, JIRA, MS Access, or similar tools/software. Ability to coach and supervise junior members and interns. Understanding of electronic circuits and communication protocols. Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes. Experience with design architecture and handling multi‑disciplinary specifications and reviews (FPGA, software, mechanical, etc.). Knowledge of space radiation effects on parts and understanding of associated screening and qualification processes is an asset. Exposure to RF design, mixed‑signal, signal processing, high‑speed, or motor control design. Special Considerations Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the reliability status level and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
