Maintenance Director Reporting to the Plant Director, the incumbent will work in a collaborative context with his team as well as all of his partners and internal customers. The Director of Maintenance promotes the dissemination and commitment to the values and priorities of the organization among managers and all staff. THE ROLE: Lead, train and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a safe and productive work environment; Maximize the availability and efficiency of equipment through rigorous preventive and corrective maintenance; Coordinate general maintenance of buildings and site infrastructure; Manage investment projects (CAPEX) in collaboration with engineering; Optimize department performance using key indicators (KPI) and continuous improvement; Manage the annual budget and control operational costs as well as subcontracting. PROFILE: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience; Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance management; Experience in a unionized work environment, desirable; Knowledge of the standards in force in the food sector; Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
