OPEN COMPETITION Cashier Responsibilities Greet customers entering establishments Oversee the store's front-end with respect to loss‑prevention Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas Process / inspect merchandise returns and exchanges Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards Assist / listen to customer Qualifications Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred Able to work with minimal supervision Multi‑tasking multiple customers & situations time to time Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times. Able to work well under pressure and busy customer atmosphere occasionally Experience with handling cash and cash register is preferred Ability to stand on feet for entire shift and lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
