The person is responsible for managing improvement projects and engineering changes in collaboration with various departments within the organization. He or she primarily contributes to value engineering initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving product lifecycles. Through their analytical skills and meticulous execution, they help implement innovative and sustainable solutions that improve the safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability of products and processes. Responsibilities As Specialist, Continuous Improvement, you must be able to: Coordinate engineering changes of all kinds (obsolescence, quality improvement, cost reduction, new supplier qualification, new product specifications, regulatory compliance, etc.) as specified in PR201 Contribute to the optimization of existing products through Value-Added Engineering (VAVE) initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving product lifecycles, particularly through design optimization, component rationalization, tolerance adjustments, sourcing optimization, and packaging improvements. Coordinate improvement projects identified according to company priorities Participate in root cause analyses to effectively target the solutions to be implemented Create and modify various production and engineering documents Participate in the design of production tools Plan work and track activities to ensure deliverables are met according to priorities Follow the priority list established by the Continuous Improvement Team Leader Serve as a key liaison in implementing assigned engineering changes Contribute to improving your role with the support of your team leader Work closely with operations, R&D, service, and application resources Complete the required ongoing training related to your responsibilities Demonstrate flexibility in dealing with unexpected changes while maintaining a high level of service Consider the company’s goals of reducing costs, improving product quality, and ensuring employee safety Qualifications College diploma (D.E.C.) or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in industrial engineering, physical technology, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Three to five years of relevant experience. Customer-focused and service-oriented. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Diligence, independence, versatility, and adaptability. Ability to manage time effectively. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to work under pressure. Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA (a plus). Knowledge of the SAP system (a plus). Working knowledge of English.
