AIMCo is expanding its HRIS functional and operational teams to support the HR technology strategy and Workday implementation. The role will support and work collaboratively with HR and BT leadership to define a roadmap for future Workday enhancements while managing day‑to‑day system configuration. ResponsibilitiesProvide subject‑matter expertise on Workday business processes and technical functionality, including configuration management tasks. Support the Senior Manager, HRIS in developing the HR Technology Strategy and roadmap. Design and implement requirements in Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time, Absence, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation and Learning modules (including configuration changes and new module implementations). Develop and modify system requirements and functional specifications for Workday and other SaaS applications. Perform root‑cause analysis for Workday system issues and appropriately escalated to HR functional areas, BT integrations, or Workday technical teams. Assist with data corrections, transfers, integrity and drive consistent practices for Workday users. Test new functionality within upcoming Workday releases to ensure expected system operation across upgrades. Provide new‑user training and support change management for Workday; stay informed on industry trends to assess feasibility of alternative improvements. QualificationsPost‑secondary degree or diploma in Information Systems (e.g., MIS, Business, Computing Science). Recognised professional designation such as ITIL, PMP, BA, ISP. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Technical aptitude; understanding of modern programming languages, data warehousing, relational databases, reporting tools and metadata repositories. 5+ years experience with Workday modules. 5+ years technical experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst. Workday HCM certification or working toward it. Experience documenting processes, performing diagnostic tests and audits. Experience managing vendor relationships with strong communication skills. Ability to partner with consultants, SMEs and stakeholders with proactive communication and project‑management skills. Proactive adaptability to change, strong problem‑solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.
